ZION REID 

Zion Reid is a digital artist that uses old mythical concepts and likes to experiment with adding modern or futuristic characteristics to them. Zion likes to work with varying themes and aesthetics in his art works and having certain pieces be connected in those ways. They also enjoy looking through all sorts of media, past art movements, and cultures to take inspiration from and incorporate into their work. 

Although each piece is created with a certain theme in mind, the messages or the narrative of these pieces are all meant to be left to the viewer's interpretation.

Zion is a Visual Arts major currently studying at Dutchess Community College. They graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 2020. During their time in high school, they got the opportunity to be involved with several different art programs, such as Spark Media, the Art Effect, and Art Centro. Zion hopes to expand and build upon his knowledge and experiences within the art world while sharing these things through his art.
